Darra-Jindalee Youth and Young Adults is an inclusive and welcoming Ministry within the Darra-Jindalee Catholic Parish. With the strong support of our Administrator and faith Community, we have been blessed with the invaluable gifts of past Youth Ministers and members who have been instrumental in laying the foundations of empowering young people to live Christ centred lives.

Youth Ministry sessions are held weekly during a school term over four terms throughout the school year, catering for year seven students to year twelve students. Moreover, Young Adult Ministry sessions are held twice in a school term over a four term period throughout the school year.

The operation of a Youth Session would follow on from the evening 5:30pm Mass then begin with fellowship by sharing a Community meal provided by families then lead into opening prayer, praise and worship, catechesis, small group reflections ending with games that are connected to the teachings.

Our Mission this year is focused on the call to discipleship by accepting God’s invitation of love to us through Jesus and responding by accepting God’s will for us.
